Terms of engagement
These terms apply when you ask Web Flow Base to sit with your files, draw a journey, or otherwise provide the work described on this site. By sending a request, paying a deposit, or inviting us onto the floor, you accept them. If something in a signed letter of quote conflicts with this page, the letter wins for that engagement.
The practice
Web Flow Base is the Hobart practice at Level 7, 29 Collins Street, Hobart TAS 7000. We supply mapping visits, reviews, and written maps as professional services. We do not sell software, cabinets, or a public register.
What you must provide
You must have authority to invite us into the rooms named in the quote. You must not ask us to read files you are not allowed to show. You remain responsible for your duties to applicants, for statutory clocks, and for any decision you take after looking at a map.
Intellectual property
Pencil drafts made on your wall are yours to keep. The cleaner map and the written companion are licensed to your organisation for internal use, including briefing councillors, boards, or staff. You may not sell the map, publish it as a product, or present it as your own drawing without naming the practice. Our methods, question lists, and the look of this website remain ours.
Liability
We take care with observation and with the sample we are allowed to see. We do not promise that every folder in the building was watched. Maps describe what we saw and what closed files showed; they are not a guarantee of future processing times. To the extent Australian law allows, our liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for lost applications, missed statutory dates, or decisions made by your officers after the debrief.
Nothing on this page limits liability that cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
Confidentiality
Applicant names that we happen to see stay in the room. Our notes use file numbers or descriptions you approve. We do not take original files from the premises.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Courts of Tasmania have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek urgent relief elsewhere if a map is published without permission.
Changes
We may update this page. The version that applies is the one in force on the date of your quote letter.
