Cookies
A cookie is a small text file a browser stores when you visit a site. Some cookies are essential to remember a choice you have just made. Others help a publisher understand which pages were opened. This page explains what Web Flow Base does on webflowbase.digital. It should be read with the privacy notice.
What we use
The site is a set of static pages. We do not need an account cookie to show you a map description or a journal note. We do use a local record of your cookie choice so the banner does not argue with you on every page.
If you accept, we may allow a simple analytics cookie so we can see which public pages were opened, not who you are. If you reject, the pages still open, the form still sends, and the banner stays away.

The consent record is kept in localStorage under the key webflowbase_cookie_consent. It is not an HTTP cookie, but it serves the same purpose and is listed here so the choice is not hidden.
Essential and analytics
The consent record is essential to honour Accept and Reject. Analytics, when present after Accept, is optional. Rejecting does not close the journal, the visit notes, or the contact form.
Third parties
Fonts are requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not place marketing cookies for other firms. Embedded photographs are loaded from the public image hosts named in the page; those hosts may set their own cookies according to their policies.
How to manage or disable
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You may also clear stored data for this site in your browser settings, or use the browser’s cookie and site-data controls. Blocking all storage may cause the banner to return on the next visit.
Impact of disabling
If you reject or disable analytics, we simply know less about which public notes were read. You will not lose the ability to request a mapping visit or to read the terms.
